No-Show, Late Cancellation, and Late Arrival Policy

At Fort Bend Rheumatology Associates, we strive to provide timely and efficient care to all patients. In response to
high appointment demand, the following scheduling and attendance policy will be strictly enforced beginning
September 1, 2025:

– A $50 fee will be charged for missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice
for all appointments with medical providers, including physicians (MDs) and physician assistants (PAs).
– Appointments canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice will not incur a fee.
– Patients are required to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time to allow for
the check-in process.
– There is no longer a grace period. Patients who arrive after their scheduled appointment time will be asked
to reschedule or wait for the next available appointment with another provider.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement this policy to better serve all of our patients
and reduce delays in care.
